They will be celebrating good times at the John Paul Jones Arena on November 11 at the Grand 250 Gala.
Gala organizers announced Friday disco superstars "Kool and the Gang" will be the headline act at the celebration. The gala will highlight the talent and diversity of the community, and Grand 250 Gala organizer George Benford thinks "Kool and the Gang" will set the perfect tone.
"We're delighted to that we're going to have the quality of ‘Kool and the Gang' to participate in this great evening," Benford said. "Their greatest hit was ‘Celebration' and that is what this is all about."
Tickets go on sale at John Paul Jones Arena September 7.
