UVA Field Hockey Wins Home Opener 6-1 over Richmond

The 8th ranked UVa Field Hockey team got a hat trick from Paige Selenski in a dominating 6-1 win over Richmond. All three of Selenski's goals came in the second half.

Virginia built a 2-nothing halftime lead behind goals from Rachel Sumfest and Carissa Vittese. The Cavaliers outshot the Spiders 14-6 in the game.

The Cavaliers improve to 2-1 on the season and are back in action on Friday hosting Towson at 3pm.
