TopDrawerSoccer.com named UVA freshman forward Makenzy Doniak the Women's College Player of the Week Monday.
Doniak scored three goals in wins over Liberty and UNC Wilmington last week, scoring twice in Virginia's 3-0 victory over the Flames Wednesday and netting the game-winning goal in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Seahawks.
The California native leads the ACC with five goals this season, scoring in all four Cavalier matches.
Doniak is the first 'Hoo ever to score a goal in the first four matches of the season. She's scored or assisted on seven of UVA's eleven goals this season.
