Some University of Virginia students say you don't need four wheels to get around, two will do just fine.
Area bike shops were out at the UVA Student Activities Building Monday for the second On Grounds Bike Sale.
The event gives students without cars another option for getting where they need to go. Helmets and reflective clothing were also available.
Rebecca White with UVA Parking and Transportation said, "Especially given some of the transportation challenges on grounds and with the McCormick Road Bridge being closed to transit, a bike is a really great way to get around, especially if you're just traveling around grounds."
The On Grounds Bike Sale was developed by UVA's Department of Parking and Transportation.
