FUMA Football Shut Out By Hermitage - NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville, VA News, Sports and Weather

The Fork Union Military Academy football team was shut out 38-0 against VHSL AAA powerhouse Hermitage High School.

The teams played the contest at Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, and the game was shown nationally on ESPNU.

Blue Devils quarterback Christian Hackenberg was sacked six times in the game, including a sack and fumble on the first play of the game.

Hackenberg completed 13-of-27 passes for 140 yards.

FUMA will host Georgetown Prep next Friday at 6:30pm.
