Greene Visitor Center in Need of More Volunteers - NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville, VA News, Sports and Weather

Along with welcoming travelers to the area, the Greene County Visitor Center wants to welcome more volunteers.

The center counts on about 15 volunteers to help out each month, but it is in need of more and cutting back hours isn't an option.

Volunteer Barbara Hayes says her experience has been very rewarding.

"It is so much fun and the staff that is here is very helpful. They work you through any problems that you may have … And just helping the community is really what it's all about," she said.
