New Principal Welcomed at Charlottesville Catholic School - NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville, VA News, Sports and Weather

The Charlottesville Catholic School is welcoming its new principal.  A community reception was held Sunday in honor of Michael Riley.

Riley comes to Charlottesville from Saint Mary Star of the Sea School in Hampton. He says it's a blessing to be a part of a new beginning for the school.

Riley stated, "I kind of want to make sure we maintain the excellence and the academics they've already established, and work to see what strengths I can build on and continue to improve and offer a variety of experiences here for the children at Charlottesville Catholic."

Students head back to school on August 27.
