Nearly a hundred acres of agricultural land just outside Waynesboro off Route 254 could be the site of dozens of new homes.
The Augusta County Planning Commission made a recommendation Tuesday night to rezone 91 acres of agricultural land to rural residential.
The developer who helped build the Ana Marie Estates, which is near the new property, hopes to build larger homes that would sit on at least two acres each. Now the recommendation will go before the Augusta County Board of Supervisors.
