Virginia Tech junior quarterback Logan Thomas asked Hokie fans on his twitter account to come up with a nickname for the Tech offense.
On Saturday at media day, Thomas says he hadn't come up with anything yet.
Tech will have eight new starters on offense, and it's the Hokie defense getting all the attention.
But linebacker Bruce Taylor says the Hokie offense is starting to pick it up a notch in practice.
"They've been starting to turn it up, especially with us going to a spread offense," said Taylor. "Logan has a lot of weapons, but as far as nicknames go, I haven't found them one yet. We're 'Nasty D' over here. If they keep getting better and better and they deserve a nickname, we'll get to that point, but we ain't to that point yet."
