Susan Allen Campaigns at Augusta County Fair - NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville, VA News, Sports and Weather

Susan Allen, the wife of Republican U.S. Senate candidate George Allen, paid a visit to the Augusta County Fair Saturday.

She stopped by various vendors at the fair with hopes that they join Allen's team in his race for the Senate. Susan Allen says it was a change of pace to be close to her old stomping grounds. Allen says she will be spending the night with her parents in Crozet.

Senate hopeful George Allen was on the campaign trail as well. He spent the day traveling across the state with Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
