Day Four of UVA football practice wrapped up Thursday at The Park.
The players won't put on full pads until Friday's practice.
Head coach Mike London says he wants his offense to be more explosive this year, and he's been impressed with his young sophomore wide receivers in camp.
Darius Jennings and Dominique Terrell played in all 13 games last year as true freshman, and they each had a touchdown catch.
Terrell says, "I think we're going to have a lot of touchdowns, last year I think we had 7 total from the receivers, we're going to try to boost that up a little bit."
Jennings adds, "We think we all can be explosive, we think we all can put up numbers on the field. We're a group, we're just all out here working."
The team has good depth this year with sophomore EJ Scott, who London says has had some great catches in practice, and sophomore Miles Gooch.
Junior Tim Smith is the veteran of the bunch, and had over 500 yards receiving and three touchdowns last year.
Gooch says, "It just shows how young we are as a whole, but we still take tips from everyone, not just Tim, and we try to put it all together.
Smith says, "We just have to get downfield and stretch it out. We have a good running game we just have to bring the intensity and speed in the passing game as well."
