Shifflett Enters Alford Plea in Abduction, Malicious Wounding Case

Grand Jury Indicts Shifflett on Abduction, Malicious Wounding Charges

A registered sex offender has pleaded guilty to three charges. Dillon Lee Shifflett entered an Alford plea Tuesday in Albemarle County Circuit Court.

The charges include abduction, malicious wounding and a probation violation. Under the plea, Shifflett admits there is sufficient evidence to find him guilty, but asserts his innocence.

Shifflett will be sentenced November 20.
