EDENS, property developers for The Shops at Stonefield, are announcing new stores Tuesday and providing more details about the bottom line, which is job creation.
Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and Langford Market are coming to the complex. Those stores will join Trader Joe's and Blue Ridge Mountain Sports.
The developers say these projects will create nearly 2,000 jobs during construction and 900 permanent jobs. They also say it will bring in $85 million in new tax revenue over the next 10 years.
EDENS Vice President of Development Brad Dumont said, "Especially coming out of this recession, we're excited to bring tax revenue to the community, to bring new job creation. I think it's critical for the area."
Stonefield developers say the first store, Trader Joe's, will open in November. The exact date will be released in the next few weeks.
