The man wanted for a series of car crashes that closed off part of Ridge Street turned himself in to police. Investigators say 31-year-old Marvin Turner surrendered around 11:00 Monday night.
He was wanted after a string of hit-and-run accidents on July 25 when police say he stole a car and crashed into several utility poles and parked cars. The incident shut off power to homes and businesses on Ridge Street between Elliot and Monticello avenues.
