The UVA basketball team has been hard at work this summer.
This weekend the Cavaliers leave for a 10-day trip to Europe where they will play five games in the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
UVA opens the trip in Amsterdam, where they will play two games against the Netherlands B-team.
Wahoos coach Tony Bennett says the team's Virginia will play on this trip will be a bit older than his guys, and likely more physical than what the 'Hoos see in the ACC, but Bennett say the extra practice time and games overseas will be a huge benefit in the long run.
"My focus on this team is to enjoy the experience to bring our team close together," says Bennett, "but we want to go over there an play well that's important. But its kind of instilling some things with a lot of new faces that will put us ahead when we start practice in October."
