Waynesboro Blasts Harrisonburg In VBL Playoffs

Waynesboro shut out Harrisonburg 9-0 in Game 1 of the Valley Baseball League South Division finals Sunday night.

Eric Stout pitched 8 innings on the mound, allowing just one hit, with Kyle Allen picking up the save.

Jacob Hoyle and Brandon Murray each had two hits, two runs, and two RBI in the middle of the Generals line-up.

Top-seed Waynesboro will look to wrap up the best of three series Monday night at 7:30 PM in Harrisonburg.
