The United States is currently in 7th as a team.

The eventing runs through Tuesday.

Former Cavalier tennis star Somdev Devvarman is eliminated in the first round of the men's singles events at the Olympics Sunday.

Devvarman was playing for India, and lost in straight sets to 41st-ranked Jarkko Nieminen (6-3, 6-1).

The 2008 UVA grad was playing his first competitive tournament since shoulder surgery last November, and was a wild card entry into the event.
