Actor Justin Long to Campaign for Obama in Charlottesville
The Obama campaign is hoping a little star power will help increase enthusiasm for the upcoming election on November 6.
Actor Justin Long will be at the campaign's downtown mall office in Charlottesville on Tuesday to meet supporters and help with a phone bank.
Long is best known for his appearances in Apple Inc. commercials and his role in the film "Dodge Ball".
Jim Nix with the Charlottesville Democratic Party said, "Having celebrities who support the president has really helped us to increase enthusiasm in the community. We had Chris Waller, the guitarist for Death Cab for Cutie, was here a couple weeks ago and he's a great supporter to help our volunteers get energized and out registering voters."
Long will be at the Charlottesville office from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
