Albemarle Supervisor Talks About Possible New Costco

At a town hall meeting Thursday night, Scottsville District Supervisor Chris Dumler told constituents a new Costco store in Albemarle County is all but confirmed.

The proposed Costco would go in the new Wegmans shopping center planned for Fifth Street Extended. The project would still need to be approved by planning commissioners.

Dumler says the addition of a big box store would be a welcome destination for people living in southern Albemarle County.
