Albemarle County Supervisor Chris Dumler says he wants to keep the lines of communication open with his constituents. Dumler is hosting two town hall meetings this week in Scottsville.
He wants to get feedback on some of the area's most pressing issues, including the chloramine debate and improving cellphone service.
"I'm trying to ensure that it's not just a six-month gig, it's a four-year term. And there are issues that pop up every single month and I want to make sure people hear from me more frequently than just when I'm running for [office]."
The first meeting is this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Scottsville Elementary. The second is this Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at the Albemarle County Office Building on Fifth Street Extended.
