The Republican Party continues to rally supporters in central Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley.
Sunday night, the Albemarle-Charlottesville Republican Women's League is hosting a 'Take Our Country Back' picnic at Darden Towe Park.
The picnic is meant to bring people together who hold similar conservative values in a largely liberal part of the commonwealth.
Flora Patterson with the Republican Women's League said, "It's just a way to have time together and focus on what we would like to have happen in this upcoming election, which is very exciting for us and of course we're all backing Romney, Allen, and Hurt."
Radio talk show hosts Joe Thomas and Rob Schilling are serving as emcees for Sunday evening's picnic.
