SPCA Holds Kittens and Cupcakes Event

The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is offering pet lovers a sweet deal on a furry friend.

The first Kittens and Cupcakes event took place Saturday at the SPCA to promote the importance of animal fostering.

The kittens ranged from just days to weeks old. The event also included a special station where kids used candy to design a cupcake to look like a cat.

The SPCA says a total of seven kitties were given temporary homes Saturday.
