The Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville is hoping for nice weather as the group gears up for a big fundraiser.
"Putter Power" kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Putt Putt Place on Rio Road in Charlottesville. This is just one of many fundraisers that makes up 80 percent of the Ronald McDonald House's budget.
Tickets cost $6 with all of the proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House. In addition to mini-golf, there will also be face painting, games, food, and prizes.
Putt Putt Place owner Lloyd Wood said, "Our thing at Putt Putt is, we sell fun only so we want them to come for the fun and then, yes, make a donation to the Ronald McDonald House."
"Putter Power" is open to the public, and it runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m..
