Mike Scott And Denzel Bowles Lead NBA Teams To Wins

Former UVA basketball star Mike Scott and the Atlanta Hawks took on the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Summer League Wednesday night in Las Vegas.

The second round pick scored 11 points in the 67-61 Atlanta win, after scoring 12 in the win against Boston Monday night.

Scott led the team in both rebounds and assists Wednesday with seven and four, respectively.

The former Cavalier will play his final Summer League game Thursday at six o'clock against Portland.

Former JMU star Denzel Bowles had 4 points, 6 rebounds, and a team high 3 blocks in the New Orleans Hornets 78-61 win against Phoenix.
