Police Investigate Suspicious Package at Zion Crossroads Sheetz - NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville, VA News, Sports and Weather

Things are back to normal at the Zion Crossroads Sheetz, but it was anything but a normal morning there.

Police and a bomb squad were called after a suspicious envelope was found just after 9:00 Monday morning.

They sent in a robot, removed the envelope and took it to a nearby open area to see if it was explosive.  Authorities determined that it was not, and the store was back up and running in the early afternoon.
