Charlottesville's Freedom of Speech Wall became a canvas for campers Thursday.
The annual Storyline Project guides rising fourth, fifth and sixth grade students through a unique walking expedition in Charlottesville.
Thursday they grabbed a piece of chalk and created a mural that pays tribute to some of the places they visited.
Zoie Napper of Storyline 2012 said, "Mas Tapas is a restaurant in Belmont and its has really good food there. I think it's one of the best restaurants I've been to."
Piedmont Council for the Arts, the Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative and Charlottesville Parks and Recreation are some of the groups that made this hands-on project possible.
