Jason Rummel
Augusta County Sheriff's deputies believe a violent debt-collection led to a series of gunshots.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jason Rummel of Bridgewater faces four felony charges, stemming from the incident Sunday night near Weyers Cave.
The sheriff's office says Rummel pursued a man who apparently owed him money, then pulled a handgun and fired at least three times at the victim's car.
Investigators say they found shell casings at the scene, but no one was hurt.
Rummel was arrested on Monday.
