Albemarle County is moving forward with leasing space inside Martha Jefferson Hospital. The move will give the county emergency medical services on Pantops Mountain.
Under the proposed lease, the county would get 151 square feet of space at Martha Jefferson. That will cost the county about $5,700 a year. The lease would last for three years and give the county time to build a fire station on Pantops.
The board of supervisors will take up the issue Wednesday morning.
