Waynesboro Grand Jury Indicts Two in Near-Fatal Shooting

Waynesboro Near Fatal Shooting Case to go to Grand Jury

A Waynesboro grand jury has indicted two people in connection with a near-fatal shooting.

Samuel Kevin Bridge, 26, is charged with three felonies, including a special count of malicious wounding that carries a possible life sentence. Bridge is accused of shooting a man in a parking lot in April. He's set for a jury trial next month.

The grand jury also indicted 24-year-old Ashley Nicole Knight on three charges for allegedly helping Bridge escape from police.
