Friday Night Valley Baseball League Scores & Highlights

The Waynesboro Generals snapped a two game losing streak with an 11-1 win at home against Strasburg in the Valley Baseball League Friday night.

UVA sophomore Rob Amaro had a 2-run double for the Generals (18-9).

Centerfielder Julian Ridings was 2-for-4 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.

Staunton lost 14-6 at home against Luray.

The Braves (15-15) trailed 9-2 after 2 1/2 innings.

Jermaine Berry had 3 hits and 2 RBI in a losing effort.

Harrisonburg lost 10-4 at home against Winchester.

Grant Gibbs went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI and a run scored for the Turks (18-11).
