Relief is available Monday for the hundreds of people in Albemarle County without water because of the power outages.
Monday morning, the Virginia Department of Emergency Management delivered drinkable water to the Earlysville Fire Department. This shipment was supposed to happen Sunday, but was delayed there, and to other towns in need of help.
Monday morning, several pallets of bottled water were dropped off. Bottles of water were also delivered to the Scottsville, North Garden, and Crozet fire departments. If you live nearby and need clean drinking water, feel free to swing by.
