Charlottesville Dog Training Business in Running for $250K Grant

Posted: Updated:

A Charlottesville business is hoping a national competition is going to the dogs.

All Things Pawssible is a dog training and daycare business, in the running for a $250,000 grant from Chase Bank and LivingSocial.  The companies will award grants to 12 small businesses nationwide, but to be considered, they have to earn at least 250 votes.

Owner Karen Quillen says the funds would be a big help.  "To continue the services, expand services," she said.  "There are many things people ask us to do which we just can't because of lack of space, local clubs the AKC wants to work with us to have shows there. We don't have the space.

At last check, All Things Pawssible was in second place.  Click here to learn more about the contest or to vote.
