Charlottesville Police Investigate Downtown Morning Stabbing

Charlottesville police are investigating an early morning stabbing on the downtown mall.

It happened in the 300 block of East Main Street around 3:00 Saturday morning. The victim tells police he was trying to break up a fight, when one of the men involved pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the leg.
