Daniel Harmon-Wright, the Culpeper town officer involved in the February fatal shooting of 54-year-old Patricia Cook, is now off the force.
Harmon-Wright is currently out on bond, charged with murder, malicious shooting into an occupied vehicle resulting in death and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
He had been suspended without pay.

Effective June 19, Daniel Harmon-Wright's employment with the Culpeper Police Department was terminated. This termination occurred after the completion of an Internal Affairs investigation into the matter of the shooting of Patricia Cook.
The Town would like to thank the community for its patience throughout this process.
