Team USA Field Hockey Ties Argentina in Exhibition at UVA

The USA field hockey team which will represent USA in the summer Olympics in London played Argentina to a 1-1 tie Monday night on UVa's turf field.

No stats were kept, but Katie O'Donnell scored the lone goal for Team USA. That goal came midway through the second half to break a scoreless tie. Argentina's Noel Barriouevo scored the equalizer a few minutes later.

The two teams will play another exhibition game Wednesday at 5pm at Old Dominion University.
