New Market Snaps Generals' Win Streak

Waynesboro lost 13-4 at home against New Market in Valley Baseball League action Saturday night, snapping a five game win streak for the Generals.

Justin Lacy went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles, a run scored, and 5 RBI to lead the Rebels.

Harrisonburg lost 4-1 at Rockbridge.  

John McLeod pitched a complete game while giving up just two earned runs in a losing effort for the Turks.

Staunton won 10-7 at Covington.

Kenny Jackson was 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and a run scored.

The Braves play at New Market Sunday night, while Waynesboro hosts Harrisonburg at seven o'clock.
