CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Nearly 500 school officials from across Virginia are expected to attend a conference on bullying prevention next week.

The conference is set for June 20 at Charlottesville High School.

Experts from Clemson University and the universities of Nebraska and Illinois are scheduled to present findings on programs aimed at reducing bullying.

University of Virginia clinical psychologist Dewey Cornell says the conference also will cover legal and practical issues for schools.
