Taybronne White's arraignment was postponed Tuesday but as we head toward trial a number of defense motions were taken up.
White is charged in connection with the death of three people in May 2011. Investigators say White shot Brian Lee Daniels, Dustin Knighton and Lisa Hwang. Their bodies were found in the middle of Octonia Road. Investigators believe White killed them following a home invasion and robbery. He is facing 13 charges including two counts of capital murder.
Tuesday his new attorneys were granted audio evidence from law enforcement, a toxicology report from a witness to the home invasion, a qualified crime scene expert and a forensic pathologist.
On his way out of court White said he was not worried about the charges. He will be back in court in September.
Meanwhile a mental retardation report, which is required by law in capital cases, is underway.
