A medical examiner has learned what killed a 10-year-old Augusta County boy on Sunday.
Investigators say Joshua Davis was driving an all-terrain golf cart on his family's property near Dooms when it overturned into a creek. He was alone at the time.
The Augusta County sheriff says an autopsy shows Davis died of drowning and asphyxiation.
Davis, a fourth-grade student at Cassell Elementary, will be laid to rest on Thursday afternoon.
The Augusta County sheriff tells us there is no legal age-limit for that type of vehicle.
