The Senior Center of Charlottesville held its 19th annual Senior Health and Fitness Day Wednesday.
About 60 seniors and friends came out to get a massage, eat healthy snacks and listen to talks about "keys to successful aging." Diabetes and blood pressure screenings were held as well to encourage folks "to get moving and start improving."
Margaret Fitch of the Senior Center said, "We are exercising and we're staying healthy and we're staying fit. Today were learning about healthy aging through our speakers and we have folks here who are taking blood pressure and checking sugar to make sure we're all healthy."
Vendors like Relay Foods and Home Instead also donated their time.
