Leadership was the hot topic Tuesday afternoon for the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce. Hundreds packed the Doubletree Hotel for the annual spring luncheon.
University of Virginia football coach Mike London was the keynote speaker. Advanced Network Systems President Kevin Leibl was awarded the 2012 Chamber Small Business Person Award.
Leibl said it is an honor "to get the chance to be recognized for that growth and the opportunity to contribute to the community and to the business community."
Advanced Networks Systems was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Charlottesville. The chamber says small businesses make up about 85 percent of the entrepreneur pool in the area.
