I-64 Tractor Trailer Accident in Albemarle County

It was a tough morning for one big rig driver in Albemarle County.

Around 5:30 Tuesday morning, the driver says he swerved to miss a deer and ran his tractor trailer off the road. It happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 near the Route 20 exit.

State police say it was also foggy at the time. The truck driver wasn't hurt, but it took a few hours to pull the rig out of the ditch.
