LOOK3 Photo Festival Installs Underwater Photos Exhibit
A new photo display on Charlottesville's downtown mall is taking people under the sea.
Friday morning, crews with the "LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph" installed their first exhibit of the year - about 40 underwater pictures from National Geographic photographer David Doubilet. The other exhibits open June 1.
The banners hung in the trees always have a natural history theme, and this time is no different. "We love the environmental sort of message," said LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph Managing Director Andrew Owen. "Conservation, kind of environmental awareness that comes with these photographs. And I think the town really loves it."
The artist for this exhibit will be in town on June 6 to talk to anyone who wants to know more about the photos. Click here for more information.
