Delegate David Toscano caught up with Charlottesville residents Wednesday night for coffee and conversation. People crowded Java Dragon Coffee House on Preston Avenue to talk to the 57th District representative.
Toscano talked about convicted criminals' voting rights, transportation, taxes and more. The representative says he hosted this event to get personal feedback from people in across Charlottesville and Albemarle County.
"Well I try to do these things periodically to give folks insight into the legislative process, let me know what's on their minds, try to talk a little bit about what we did in Richmond and what we didn't do, and mainly just hear from folks about what's important to them," he said.
This is the second such event Delegate Toscano has hosted this week.
