The First Pitch: A Waynesboro Marine's Surprise Homecoming

Combine a soldier's homecoming with baseball and you get a story that's just about as American as you can get.

Connor Jarvis is a sophomore right fielder for Waynesboro's Little Giants. His brother Corey is a Marine Corps corporal who's home for two weeks of leave from Afghanistan.

Friday night Corey surprised his brother by throwing out the first pitch at Connor's ball game and Connor never saw it coming.
