Stanwick Named a Finalist for Tewaaraton Award

UVa lacrosse star Steele Stanwick has been named one of five finalists for the prestigious Tewaaraton Award given to the nation's top college player.

Stanwick won the Tewaaraton last year.  No player has ever won the award two years in a row.   Stanwick leads the nation in assists (45) and ranks second in the country in points per game with 5.07.

Earlier this season Stanwick was named the ACC Player of the Year.
