Car Crashes into Greene County Home

A Greene County couple is set to meet with their insurance company Monday to assess the damage after a car crashed into their Stanardsville home Saturday night.

It happened on Madison Lane around 8:30 Saturday night, while the couple slept.

Police say 21-year-old Daniel Shifflett from Greene County fell asleep behind wheel. He's charged with reckless driving and improper brakes. No one was hurt.
