A preliminary hearing has been set for the woman accused of killing a man in Charlottesville earlier this year.

Forty-seven-year-old Wanda Turner is charged with second-degree murder.

A motions date has been set for May 17, 2012 at 2 p.m.  Turner's preliminary hearing is set for June 7, 2012 at 2 p.m.

A co-worker found Robert "Eddie" Snead inside his apartment on Fairway Avenue in March. The medical examiner's office says Snead died of sharp force injuries to the neck.

Turner is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
