Greene County School Board Deals with Possible Funding Cut

Greene County's school board is dealing with a possible cut in its funding.

At an emergency meeting Wednesday night, the board of supervisors hinted it would soon vote to cut the county's contribution by about half.

The school board wanted $2.3 million. It's now expected to only receive $1.1 million.

Supervisors are expected to take a final budget vote May 8.
