Traffic is moving again on Interstate 64 after a dump truck blew a tire and ran off the highway around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.
It happened in the eastbound lanes of I-64 at mile marker 112 near the Ivy exit. Police say the dump truck ran off the road and down a ravine.
Officers say diesel fuel spilled from the truck into a nearby creek. Hazmat crews are working to clean up the spill.
The driver was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Traffic was backed up for miles throughout the morning as one or both lanes were closed while crews worked to get the truck out of the ravine.
